Joe Willie "Pinetop" Perkins, now in his 90s, created a style of playing that has influenced three generations of piano players and will continue to be the yardstick by which blues pianists are measured. The master of the boogie woogie began playing piano in l942. Big Pete Pearson is one of Arizona's most popular blues musicians, playing clubs throughout Phoenix and surrounding vicinities.
