PIER 39 celebrates Independence Day with an afternoon line-up of popular local bands. Sponsored by Crystal Geyser ALPINE SPRING WATER, Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream and The Examiner. The fireworks display over the Bay starts around 9:30 p.m. Free. Located at the corner of Beach Street and The Embarcadero in San Francisco.

it is great to celebrate july the 4th, but we should stop using this type of powder (firework)-- It creates lead and other type of hazardous of chemicals, that filters into our drinking water, that creates breast cancer and other types of sickness.
