Picnic in the Park / Charity Duck Race (Stockton-on Tees Armed Forces Week 2012) June 23, 2012

12:30pm Bring your picnic lunch to Preston Park and relax on the grassed area by the River Tees boat jetty.

13:00 to 13:30pm Then sit back and enjoy the fantastic musical talents of the Northfield School Band as they perform a number of popular pieces to get you tapping your toes. There is something for everyone:

15:00 to 15:30pm Charity Duck Race – enjoy the spectacle of hundreds of bright yellow plastic ducks being launched into the River Tees.

All the money raised during Armed Forces Week will go to support the work of the following charities:

• Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen And Families Association (SSAFA)
• The Rifles Regiment’s ‘Care for Casualties’
• The Yorkshire Regiment Benevolent Fund
