Centered around a Labor Day picnic, a young drifter becomes involved with sisters Madge and Millie and disrupts the balance of their lives. Passion and veiled romance prevails as the promise of marriage and happiness continues to pull the women of the household in different directions. Ultimately decisions are made that may tear the family apart.
