Picasso and American Art September 6, 2006

Not only documenting Picasso's influence in America but also defining the extremely varied role his art and reputation have served for American artists, the exhibition features nearly 30 works by Picasso as well as a wide-ranging display of works by 10 American artists: Max Weber, Stuart Davis, Arshile Gorky, John Graham, Willem de Kooning, Jackson Pollock, David Smith, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Jasper Johns.
