This month we have a talk by Jenny Wong on Frontend in 2012. As much as we all love PHP, what about all those things it needs to get along with? The talk will cover the current state of play in subjects ranging from HTML5 and responsive design, all the way back to the browser wars. This will demonstrate implementions relevant to each subject and hope to show that, even though you may never touch the frontend, you should still be taking notes!

PHPNW (PHP North West) is a group focussing on the PHP web development language in the North-of-England.
