This workshop, taught by acclaimed photographer Chloe Atkins, is for photographers looking for community and creative stimulation. Using the art exhibition Terror? as a backdrop, workshop participants will create photographs of themselves, their immediate surroundings, their homes and neighborhoods. Topics to be explored include: the power of the photograph for documentation, self-portraiture, composition, identity, community, fear, healing, and popular media. Participants will learn how to create digital presentations from digital files at the newly renovated RayKo Photo Center. The final night of the workshop, participants will present their work salon-style to an audience. Digital or film photography. All levels welcome.
