Photography Exibit Opening Reception - INDIA: Child Brides, Dowry Abuse, and Girls' Education June 7, 2012

Over the last two years Mark Tuschman has visited rural India as part of a long term project to document women’s and young girls’ lack of autonomy over their own lives. He also sought to capture the efforts being made to educate and empower them. Tuschman is a professional documentary photographer most recently focusing on issues surrounding women and girls in Africa, India and Latin America.
