Beyond Shadows.. Y D Pitkar

To begin with, photography is documentary as long as the image contains the context of the subject. As you move in closer and closer, its context tends to disappear and what is left is simple graphics of light, lines and shadows. The play of shadows on the few thousand steps by the ever moving Sun at Modhera can delight a person, its graphics is almost meditative. The Temple of Sun then tends to abstract, and the meaning is left to the viewer.
