Photography workshop with Nicolas Pascarel in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam 10 days and 10 nights in a full immersion

This workshop is meant for no more than 10 participants. 10 days and 10 nights in Ho Chi Minh City and Hoi An, Vietnam. Participants are free to choose to work with either black&white or colour, with digital cameras or film. Photo Reportage and Photo Journalism are the main themes to be developed during this workshop. Participants will elaborate a 20 images story, the subject of each story will be individually chosen at the beginning of the workshop. We will work on all photos, in order to select the final 20 of each photographer’s work. Pictures are to be taken during excursions on field in the same manner as Cartier-Bresson or the more contemporary James Nachtwey. We will go out on field with daylight or moonlight, at dusk or dawn, according to our needs and our inspiration. Most excursions will take place in Ho Chi Minh City, but three days outside the city limits are planned as well. The peculiar colonial city of Hoi An, china and french old style. It is of a great importance that a closely knitted group must be formed. A common vibe shared by myself and all participants is necessary for the sake of the work we will do together as well as for positive personal relationships. This is how I have always succeeded during my previous workshops in Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. Participants are living together in order to maintain the group united and productive, sharing, no matter the different backgrounds nor the styles of photography, a common goal and passion.
