Phone Banking October 14, 2006

Hi Dems,

We, The Clermont County Democratic Party, should be very proud. We probably set a record for ourselves with the number of calls we made for the "100,000 Calls for Victory in Ohio" Phone Bank Rally this past weekend.

With 19 volunteers, we were able to call over 850 people and got our message out to close to 600 registered voters!

I was and still am awed by the turnout and am grateful to all those who made this happen.

(We should also thank the Republicans for helping us out by sending out Absentee Ballot applications. Many people will take advantage of this and Vote Democrat!!)

Yet, our work isn't over by a long shot. (You knew this was coming.)

We still have thousands of people to contact and less than 30 days to make that happen. Please stop by HQ and spend a few hours phone banking. We have fun (well at times), and lots of people energize each other.

We need to get our candidates names out there. We need to let people know more about our candidates. We really need every Democrat to work toward getting our candidates elected this November!

You know, in your heart, that each person volunteering in some capacity will make a difference in how our County, State and Country will be run in the coming years.

Please join us in whatever way you can: Phone Banking, Lit Drops, wearing T-shirts, joining the Visibility teams at busy intersections with signs, hanging out with the candidates when they go to engagements, passing out literature at places like Tall Stacks and Fairs, putting out Yard Signs, helping out in the office, and the list goes on. There is plenty for everyone to do.

So phone banking times and hours are below, plus we'll be doing Lit Drops the last 2 weekends in October right before the election. We'll also be doing a GOTV on November 6, and Election Day, November 7th.
