Philadelphia Senior Center presents 60th Anniversary Gala and Dance, “There’s No Place Like PSC” October 16, 2009

Philadelphia Senior Center (PSC), 509 S. Broad Street, presents 60th Anniversary Gala and Dance, “There’s No Place Like Home” on Friday, October 16, 2009; VIP party at 5:30pm, dinner at 6:30pm. This event will be held at Penn’s Landing Caterers/ Sheet Metal Workers Local Union Building, 1301 S Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19147. Close your eyes, tap your heels together and say, “There’s No Place Like PSC!” Travel down the yellow brick road to PSC’s “Land of Oz” for our 60th Anniversary Celebration. Start the evening with a VIP reception, complete with open bar and lavish hors d’oeuvres. (VIP tickets sold separately.) Enjoy a sit-down dinner and dessert. Dance the night away with live music. Enjoy a special anniversary multi-media presentation, including “60 Years of Stories.” Watch the Greater Overbrook String Band perform in theme as the “scarecrow.” Enjoy a special performance by Jazz Pianist Tom Lawton.
