FUTURE SALON SPEAKER:
Beth Ritter Guth is a much sought speaker on education in virtual
environments and last week led the 2007 Best Practices in Second Life
Education: Teaching, Learning, and Research International Conference.
Ms. Guth is an Instructor of English and Women's Studies at the Lehigh
Carbon Community College in Schnecksville PA and a renowned expert on
deploying new technologies in teaching such as wikis, blogs, podcasts,
screencasts and MUVEs (multi-user virtual environments) like Second
