The Petschek Piano Recital Award was established through the generosity of the William Petschek Charitable Trust to assist in launching the careers of young pianists. Previous winners have included Joyce Yang, Jeremy Denk, Frederic Chiu, Jon Kimura Parker, and Orion Weiss, among others.
