Pets in America: the Story of Our Lives With Animals at Home June 24, 2007

This exhibition explores American love of the company of animals, and how this relationship has changed as the country and culture have evolved. There will be more than 200 objects and photographs, drawn from public and private collections, including a dog treadmill from the 1890s, early veterinary medicines, antique collars and much more.
