The Petersfield Real and Music Festival is back with a bang.

Having taken a two year break, presumably to clear their heads, the organisers are rolling out the barrels once again.

Despite boasting a new venue and new beers the festival will run along well-trodden lines, combining lovingly compiled selection of real ales, great live music, hot food and a unique atmosphere.

Now held at the Petersfield Rugby Club, at Penns Place, the two-day festival offers a sparkling playlist of musical talent from the stable of well-known local promoters Stiff Promotions.

Mellow acoustic music will accompany Saturday lunchtime and afternoon while Friday and Saturday night will be dedicated to dance and rock.

But the stars of the show will undoubtedly be the beers hand-picked from 20 breweries within a 40-mile radius of Petersfield.

Old favourites will be joined by new breweries such as Ascot of Camberley, Andwells of North Warnborough, Bowmans of Droxford, Irvings of Portsmouth and Langhams of Lodsworth.

The festival runs on 1 and 2 May with sessions on Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening.
