Petersfield August Bank Holiday Festivities August 29, 2010

August Bank Holiday Festivities runs on Saturday and Sunday but not Bank Holiday Monday.


Sunday's itinerary features Cafe on The Square, Italia in Piazza, Market Stalls, Kidsrome Childrens Farm.


A Community Village, sponsored by Linden Homes, will feature local groups and organisations. A climbing wall, sponsored by Biscoes, a treasure trails, cycleworks.


10.45am - 11am - St. Peter's Church singing on The Square.


11am - 12 noon - Murders and Menageries - a 1 hour walking tour of the town's history for families. Meet at the Ram in Rams Walk - conducted by David Jeffery.


11am - 11.30am - Tai Chi on The Square with James Langcake.


12.45pm - 2.45pm - Live Acoustic Music on The Square


3pm - 5pm thebestofpetersfield Awards - sponsored by thebestofpetersfield


Performances featuring local talent - Choir Company, Petersfield Academy of Dance, Write Angle and others.


5.30pm - 7pm - Surprise Events!


6pm - 10pm - Live music on The Square featuring: Jazz Morley, Manti, Fabulous Fug Band,
The evening will finish with a fireworks display.
