Peter Saville’s graphic work ranges from seminal record covers for Joy Division and New Order to art direction for the cultural image of Manchester. Saville studied graphic design at Manchester Polytechnic and in 1979 became a founding partner of Factory Records, the infamous and renowned record label.

Saville will respond to Lawrence Weiner’s exhibition, Inherent in the Rhumb Line, and discuss his own work in the context of the UK graphic art scene with Lisa Le Feuvre, Curator of Contemporary Art, NMM.
