After graduation from college, Len worked with Procter & Gamble as an industrial engineer, Dow Chemical as an economist, and IBM as a salesman.

Then, with an urge to manage his own business, he started a collection agency, evolving to a collection seminar business that presented collection seminars in 200 cities in all 50 states. He also created a collection temp staffing company that grew to 12 offices nationwide.
