Perseverance is the capacity to keep going even long after the passion for our work has dissipated. It is a continuous and conscious choice to not give up, no matter the circumstances. The Chinese character for perseverance is a knife over a human heart. Join renowned writer and speaker Margaret Wheatley, Ed.D., to explore how we can maintain our good work and continue to serve and provide leadership for others amidst the aggression, anxiety and fear that define these times. This presentation runs each evening on October 19 and 20 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Presented by Hollyhock, Canada's Lifelong Learning Centre. PRODUCED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE DALI LAMA CENTER FOR PEACE AND EDUCATION. More information at: http://www.hollyhock.ca/cms/index.cfm?Group_ID=4865. Hollyhock exists to inspire, nourish and support people who are making the world better.
