People's Inaugural Prayer Breakfast January 17, 2009

The kick-off to the Gala Weekend and Ball will include prayers from the people, praise, and worship. Guests will be ushered into the breakfast, and the spirit, by invited music ministries including the Atlanta Chorale: New Creation and Stephen Hurd from The First Baptist Church of Glenarden. Come share words of inspiration and motivation as Reverend Walter Fauntroy delivers a message based on his ministry and civil rights experience, including time spent with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC). Members of the Little Rock Nine will be present with other civil rights leaders and history-makers to share in this special occasion.
