People Building Peace September 21, 2008

People Building Peace is a celebration of the International Day of Peace

The afternoon’s celebrations will include:
1:30pm Walk for Peace (Meet ahead outside Eau Claire Market @ the Olympic Arch)
2:00pm Picnic in Peace Park (Bow River pathway @ 8th Street and 2nd Avenue SW)

There will be music, a Peace Fairy, a Tai Chi demo, children’s activities and the creation of a human peace symbol.

Bring a picnic, a blanket or lawn-chairs to sit on, your family and friends and come join us!
