Peninsula Orchid Society Show and Sale January 23, 2010

The orchid show is a welcome sight during the winter months, with beautiful displays of every imaginable type of blooming orchid. From the tiny treasures mounted on bits of bark to the enormous Cymbidiums and Vandas, this show offers something for everyone. A wide variety of orchid species and hybrids, some very rare, will be exhibited. The show is judged by the American Orchid Society and the Cymbidium Society of America, and a large number of prizes and many trophies are awarded to the best orchids according to their categories. Hundreds of blooming orchids will be for sale by nine vendors as well as the members of the Peninsula Orchid Society.
