Want to know more about bond-funded renovations and additions scheduled for Portland Community College’s Rock Creek Campus? Want to weigh in on proposed campus designs? If so, please consider attending an information session and open house, Monday November 8, 5:30 to 7:30pm, in the Rock Creek Event Center (building 9).

A year’s worth of campus and community engagement activities following the passage of PCC’s 2008 Bond Measure, have led to four potential campus designs that will add at least one building targeted to house new allied health programming and general purpose classrooms, as well as scenarios for a second exit onto 185th Avenue from the Rock Creek Campus.

In addition to a presentation by Rock Creek Bond Architect Opsis Architecture & Engineering, attendees will have a chance to view and give input on the campus designs, to propose hybrids or alternate options, and discuss critical issues such as building placement, parking, and second exit. PCC staff will endeavor to answer any questions asked, and will follow up on anything that cannot be clarified during the session.
