Latin pop sensation Paulina Rubio is the daughter of Mexican actress Susana Dosamantes. Following in her mom's footsteps, Rubio debuted in 1982 while singing and dancing for a very young audience as member of a popular children's outfit called Timbiriche. Her acting career includes the show 'Baila Conmigo ("Dance With Me"),' 'Besame en la Boca' and the soap opera 'Pobre Nina Rica,' which established her as one of the most popular artists in her native country. Her recordings include 1992's 'La Chica Dorada ("The Golden Girl")' the top-selling 'Paulina' and her first English-language record, 'Border Girl.'
