When your dad is a founding father of outlaw country and a major musical legend, at some point, you must realize that resistance is futile. Similar to the Cash and Jennings kids, Paula Nelson picked up "Papa Bear" Willie's way with a song early on, picking up piano playing and singing by the age of seven. Now paired with her current band mates since 2004, Nelson's group plays a smart collection of jazzy, bluesy rockers, seductive love songs and heartfelt ballads that make the most of Nelson's vibrant alto-to-soprano vocals with the band's guitar-driven sound.
