Jazz at Lincoln Center presents the Tisziji Munoz Quartet performing two shows with famed son of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Paul Shaffer. Since 1982, Shaffer has served as Musical Director for Late Show with David Letterman. While attending the University of Toronto, Shaffer played keyboards in Munoz’s band, making their upcoming performance in New York a particularly special one. Shaffer was the recipient of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal and a Creative Coalition 2000 Spotlight Award and is a member of the Order of Canada.
