Paul Grabowsky is a pianist, composer and conductor, who?s trio won two ARIA awards and is still one of Australia?s longest-lived and influential bands. He then founded the Australian Art Orchestra, a 20-piece ensemble whose ground-breaking work across various musical genres has heralded a new era in Australian music. Bernie McGann has flown the flag of creative jazz in Australia with great distinction for some 40 years. His daring strikes at the edge of tonality, speech-like inflections and stark emotionalism marks him as a serious soloist, with highly individual expression reaching back to the folk roots of jazz.
