The VocalEssence Chorus & Ensemble Singers present a semi-staged production of Benjamin Britten's opera "Paul Bunyan" directed by Vern Sutton and conducted by Philip Brunelle. Based on the American folk legend about a larger-than-life lumberjack, Britten's "Paul Bunyan" features music incorporating a variety of American styles, including folk songs, blues and hymns.
