TORONTO, ON. – January 18, 2010 — The resurrection of the rock n’ roll frontwoman will be in full swing at this Valentine’s Day extravaganza on February 13th, 2010 at Mod Club! Operatic diva and rock soprano Patrizia will be joined by rock n’ roll singer/songwriter Basia Lyjak and L.A.-style rock stars Frankie Whyte and the Dead Idols! Last year was ruled by Metric, Die Mannequin and Yeah Yeah Yeahs to name a few – in 2010 you can add Frankie, Basia and Patrizia to that list of women dominating the world of rock!

The buzz about all 3 bands is out of control, and what better place to see them all show what they’ve got than the Mod Club, arguably Toronto’s best live and performance venue? This early, all-ages event is the perfect opportunity for families to get out and hear some empowering music from the next generation of bold, female fronted rock bands! Adult tickets are $10 and include free CDs and autographs from the performers for the first 50 entrants! Kids and teens 18 and under can get in for just $5! In light of current events, a portion of each ticket sold will go to UNICEF’s Haiti relief fund, with a pledge page set up for additional donations. Have a heart on Valentine’s; every bit helps!
