Patriotic Knitting Exhibition June 26, 2010

On display will be a Patriotic Union Jack Flag which measures 13ft wide which has been constructed using 736 knitted squares.

As well as the flag there will be other items knitted in patriotic colours on display and also for sale.

The event is in loving memory of Rfn. Will Aldridge who remains the youngest serving soldier to be K.I.A in Sangin, Helmand Province, Afghanistan on 10 July 2009.

The entrance is via donation and the proceeds from the day will support the registered charities The Riflemans Fund and Aghanheroes.
