Chicago-based pianist/singer/songwriter Patricia Barber has been turning heads for more than a decade with her wide-ranging talents. Through eight critically acclaimed albums and appearances at most of the major jazz festivals and clubs, Barber has become known for a "coolly modern" signature sound backed by a bass-drums-guitar trio.
