Birmingham, England's Pato Banton has been a force on the reggae scene for over 25 years. A bit of trivia: Banton received the nickname Pato (Jamaican Patois for "wise owl") from his stepfather, and Banton from the disc jockey slang for a "heavyweight DJ".
