Pat Metheny, solo guitar and Orchestrion April 7, 2010

World renowned guitarist /composer Pat Metheny has been at the forefront of musical expression for decades. His staggering 17 Grammy Awards and 33 Nominations in 12 different categories are the most of any performer in Grammy history, and his focus remains continually on breaking down barriers and the exploration of new musical ideas.

In this performance, he will move between solo guitar improvisations to the unveiling of a new technology for the presentation of an acoustically driven "solo ensemble" music he has dubbed "Orchestrionics." The performance will feature music from his forthcoming album of new original compositions, as well as older tunes from his celebrated songbook
