The City of Hayward, Office of the City Clerk, is hosting a Passport Fair Hayward Public Library, 835 C St. Hayward, CA on Saturday, March 27, 2010, from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm to provide passport information to U.S. citizens and to accept passport applications. The City of Hayward, Office of the City Clerk, is joining the Department of State in celebrating Passport Day in the USA 2010, a national passport acceptance and outreach event.

U.S. citizens must present a valid passport book when entering or re-entering the United States by air. U.S. citizens entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry must present a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. government.

If you are not able to attend this event, the Hayward City Clerk, 777 B St.- 4th floor, accepts appointments during the week. You may apply for a new U.S. Passport, and get renewal forms. Contact 510-583-4400.
