The Passionistas are a San Francisco four piece with a sound that you could compare to whichever little known late seventies punk act you wish to make the comparison to. The Blank Tapes is the moniker for singer/songwriter Matt Adams, who writes, records, sings and plays all of The Blank Tapes music. The 2002 debut CD 'Country western honky tonk saloon blues' features the song 'Newport Beach' which was included on a few CD compilations and radio stations including LA's Indie 103.1.
