New Frontiers Natural Marketplace invites you to our “First
Friday” artist reception featuring the plein air paintings of
Linda Dellandre.

Using creamy sticks of pure color, Linda Dellandre
creates exquisite responses to the natural world, communicating
a sense of place, light and a glimpse of the sublime.

Linda recently returned from New York City after accepting an
award for her piece, “Still Beautiful” in the prestigious “Pastels
Only” show of the 38th Exhibition of the Pastel Society of
America. A reception with delicious food and drink will be hosted
by New Frontiers for the artist on Friday, November 5 from 6-8:30pm.

Linda says, “The landscape is my primary form of expression,
whether oil or pastel, plein air or studio. I am awed by the beauty
of this land and I’d like to communicate to the viewer a sense
of place, a certain light of day or a glimpse out the car window.”

New Frontiers Natural Marketplace is happy to join Willowbend
Environmental Education Center in celebrating Flagstaff’s First
Friday Art Walk. Willowbend is featuring the watercolors of
Flagstaff artist Janna Aukon.

Artwork displayed at New Frontiers will be displayed for a month
after the First Friday reception. The theme is “affordable”
art and features original works of art and photography for under
$250.

Music, entertainment and great food are also part of the Art Walk
experience. Make First Friday Art Walk at Aspen Place a relaxing
stop on your next Friday night out. Join us for delicious food and a
feast for your eyes.
