The event is in support of SOS Outreach, a learn-to-slide winter sports program which was started in Vail, Colorado back in 1993. Aimed to provide youth with greater self esteem and confidence both on and off the hill, the SOS Outreach programs facilitated opportunities for over 2800 kids nationwide last season.
