Party For The Planet, Community Recycling Day April 25, 2009

The Central Florida Zoo will be participating in the annual nationwide Party for the Planet celebration. The Zoo will be showcasing conservation efforts and giving you tips and ways you can participate. Browse through booths highlighting conservation efforts in which the Central Florida Zoo is involved and learn ways you can connect with the environment and make a difference in conservation by spending the day with the animals who share our planet. In addition, we will offer our first Community Recycling Day. On your way into the Zoo, drop off items such as cell phones plus accessories and batteries, empty ink cartridges, used gift cards, old crayons, techno-trash, electronic waste, aluminum cans, telephone books and Styrofoam to be recycled.
