Barrios Unidos isn't interested in just preventing violence; they're working to build community peace. For more than 30 years, this Santa Cruz-based organization has continued the legacy of the civil rights movement by using community empowerment and cultural tradition to combat the root causes of violence and create a more just society.

Join us for this Center Scene Public Program where the panel and audience will share their best ideas on how to prevent violence. This interactive dialogue with focus on building trust with youth and families, working across sectors, and advocating for healthy, peaceful communities.
