Paradise Under Reconstruction In the Aesthetic of Funk: Phase 7 November 6, 2003

An installation of new funky sacred art work by fiber artist Xenobia Bailey featuring: two vividly painted paneled walls with hand crocheted, beaded and embroidered cosmic tapestry mandalas; and a collection of color manipulated photographic prints of bare autumn tree branches roots and barks silhouetted in negative prints, beaded and sequined in a style derivative of ceremonial Voodoun Haitian Flags.
