Papermaking Workshop
By JoAnne Laudollf

Saturday, October 20
Noon – 5 p.m.
Adult
$60 ($55 if taken in conjunction with Botanical Printing Workshop)
All materials included in fee

Come and learn the art of papermaking using Eastern and Western fibers, with a focus on Western fibers. The Eastern fibers used in Japanese papermaking are long fibers that make lovely, textured paper. These papers lend themselves to collage work, as well as bookmaking, cardmaking and other mixed medias. Western fibers make a smoother paper that lends itself to printmaking, calligraphy and painting.

You will walk away with many sheets of paper that have a variety of colors and organic material incorporated, and
that can be used in the Botanical Printing workshop on October 27.
