Panthelion is a dynamic Bay Area group consisting of Andrew Currier, upright string bass; Jeff Bordes, trumpet; and Laxman Drivas, percussion. With equal measures of jazz, world, blues, and popular styles, Panthelion grows in new directions. Funky bass lines and New Jack Swing grooves play along with classic jazz style melodies. Panthelion delivers a diverse, youthful, and hip sound performed with exuberance and style.
