Pangea Day - San Diego May 10, 2008

digital-telepathy is proud to host Pangea Day 2008, a remarkable event that taps the power of film to strengthen tolerance and compassion while uniting millions of people to build a better future.

In a world where people are often divided by borders, difference, and conflict, it's easy to lose sight of what we all have in common. Pangea Day seeks to overcome that to help people see themselves in others through the power of film.

On May 10, 2008 Pangea Day sites in Cairo, Dharamsala, Kigali, London, New York City, Ramallah, Rio de Janeiro, and Tel Aviv will be videoconferenced live to produce a 4-hour program of powerful films, visionary speakers, and uplifting music.

The program will be broadcast live to the world through the Internet, television, digital cinemas, and mobile phones.

Of course, movies alone can't change the world. But the people who watch them can. So following May 10, 2008, Pangea Day organizers will facilitate community-building activities around the world by connecting inspired viewers with numerous organizations which are already doing groundbreaking work.

We are the only venue in San Diego hosting Pangea day, which is quite an honor.

We currently have not received much information from the event organizers. This is what we do know and hopefully it's more than enough to allow us to cruise into the event:

1. Our event will take place at the same time and day as the live Pangea Day live event: May 10th @ 11am PST. We will invite you to stop in anytime after 10am.
2. We can accommodate up to 50 people
3. We will have snacks and drinks. Feel free to bring any refreshments you may want.
4. Expect to meet great people and interact with your local community.
5. If you would like to participate in any way, please let us know. Participation would include sharing your own experiences, bringing in video, art or music that matches the theme of Pangea Day...etc.
