The SF Bay Area ACM chapter has assembled a panel to explore the changing business environment from a Silicon Valley point of view as new technology centers establish themselves in various locations around the globe. We want to explore how outsourcing works and how we can make the best use of our location.
We want to go beyond sound bites and delve deeper. While our expertise is in software development, we recognize that other disciplines are critical to understand this change. In addition to leaders from the software industry, we have recruited experts outside our normal sphere of influence to provide us with a global and historical perspective. The panelists include:
* Ephraim Schwartz, Infoworld
* Aliza Peleg, SAP Labs
* Brian Behlendorf, CollabNet
* Steve Mezak, Accelerance
* Sean Randolph, Bay Area Economic Forum
