Internationally acclaimed as the foremost dance interpreter of Latino culture in the United States, Ballet Hispanico's fiery repertory blends ballet and ethnic dance into a colorful collage of contemporary Hispanic-American culture. The Afro-Latin Jazz Orchestra with Arturo O'Farrill revisits Machito and Dizzy Gillespie masterpieces 'Panga,' 'Manteca,' 'Tin Tin Deo,' 'A Night In Tunisia' along with new works that demonstrate that when jazz gets tropical, everybody moves.
