PAINTING CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS WORKSHOP
November 13, 20 & 27 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM
At the Central Eglinton Community Centre
Join Graphic Artist/Arts & Crafts Instructor, Gabriela Delworth, learn the latest techniques in decorative painting and bring the spirit Christmas! This three day, Painting Christmas Ornaments Workshop, will focus on drawing, painting, color mixing and preparing your ornaments for gift giving. You will learn Gift Wrapping on your last class.
Workshop Techniques: decorative painting with acrylics, glittering, and basic calligraphy. These techniques will be used during the full four day Workshop.
November 13, Day 1 – Students will start the three day Workshop with about ten plain Christmas Ornaments. They will study designs and images to add to them. Painting with acrylics and glittering will be introduced in this class.
November 20, Day 2 – Students will then have their ornaments already painted. Basic calligraphy will be introduced in this class. They will add their own messages to them.
November 27, Day 3 – Students will finish all projects for final presentation and contest. Basic Gift Wrapping will be introduced. The most voted will go home with a bag of Christmas embellishments.
This one-on-one instruction with Gabriela is not to be missed! Workshop is available to artists of all skill levels.
