This is a friends and family open event, so feel free to invite others to it--the more the merrier. It's more enjoying shooting the people you know for some reason =)

What is it?
Paintball

Where is it played?
We will be going to Paintball Jungle located at American Canyon (near Vallejo/Marine World). Carpools will be arrange if any beforehand.

When is it?
Saturday, April 5, 2008
8:30am-4pm
Note: There's a 9:00am intro for safety and field rules. Everyone goes to that. You don't have to be there that early but we recommend it as it'll get you more games in, meaning you get more than your monies' worth.

Who usually plays?
Those who need to get: a laugh; some sweat going; blood pumping; some stress out of their system due to the burden of the 9-to-5 life; etc. Age ranges from young to old... even though we're all kids at heart.

Why?
Because its fun and provides: a good exercise; great communication practice; teamwork; and last but not least, good times. You don't have to be an expert, new comers are always welcome and have a great time as long as you come in with a good attitude and just go with the flow.

How do we play?
You can either rent your gun (what they call a "marker") from the field shop. You can wear anything if you want, or rent some clothes for $5-7 at the field shop. If any, at least a medium-weight hoodie, and some baggy-old-pants. The bagginess helps in terms of cushioning, to further dampen the force of the paintballs... sometimes causing it not to break--meaning you are still "alive" in the game. Or, you can go to a military surplus store and get some BDU/camo pants/shirts for cheap (... Stany =) ).

If you have old knee pads or elbow pads, those are good to have to as you'll be spending your time getting in a good, safe position--usually squatting, crawling, or kneeling.
