Pacific Symphony: Pictures at an Exhibition October 16, 2010

The program begins in a Russian forest with Prokofiev's beloved 'Peter and the Wolf' (featuring the 2008 Academy Award-winning film). It moves then to the sunny, exuberant landscape of Ravel's extraordinary Piano Concerto and returns, finally, to Russia and Mussorgsky's grand, heartbroken memorial to a friend.
