For its summer concert, the Choir will perform an exciting and varied programme of sacred and profane music, including Vaughan Williams’ ever popular Five Mystical Songs, the Misa Criolla whose rhythms are inspired by Latin American music, and the young Constant Lambert’s brilliant tribute to 1920s jazz, his Rio Grande, which sets words by Sacheverell Sitwell.
